Welcome to Hillside Baptist Church. We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:
Service Times
Sundays our Bible Classes (Sunday School) begin at 10 am
Sunday Worship Services are at 11 am & 6 pm
On Wednesday, we offer:
Master Clubs for the children at 6:45 pm
FOCUS for Youth at 6:45 pm
Prayer and Bible Study for Adults at 7 pm
What to Expect?
Atmosphere
It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes and includes the timeless hymns sung with great passion. You will be greeted and welcomed by our members and pastors.
Family Friendly
Hillside Baptist Church is like a family and we are excited for you to consider being part of our church family! Our intent is to serve the whole family. During our worship service we have care available for infants and children. Your children will receive real spiritual training from a group of caring leaders during this time. Some families opt to keep their children in the Sanctuary with them, and we are fine with that, too! We want you to experience Christ together!
Sermons
From the pulpit you will hear sound and relevant preaching. We use the King James version of the Bible. The focus of each sermon is built around the point of the Biblical text being addressed.
Biblical Teaching
Here at Hillside Baptist Church, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The Worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God's Word. Other opportunities exist beyond the Sunday worship service where members have a chance to grow, fellowship and to give back!
